Steven D’Ambroso, DPT

Steven D’Ambroso, DPT, has been a physical therapist since 2012. He graduated from the Mercy College DPT program where he continues to serve as adjunct professor for Mercy College’s DPT program. Dr. Steven was Clinical Director and at their Dobbs Ferry clinic and Multi-Site Manager for seven MOTION clinics. He is an APTA Certified Clinical Instructor and a McKenzie Certified Mechanical DiagnosticTherapist (spinal intervention model). Highly experienced treating an array of conditions, his specialties include treatment of the spine, shoulders, hips, and knees.

Dr. Steven also has tremendous skill in managing concussion and post-traumatic headaches in our athletes. An avid athlete himself, he holds a 4th degree black belt in karate and has 18 years of experience training, competing, and instructing martial arts. Dr. Steven has a true mastery of human kinetics. He couples these experiences with a passion and comprehensive familiarity with years of weight and resistance training, to give him an intimate understanding of precisely how the human body should move for optimum performance.
